Microelectronics US 2026 Launches in Austin to Unite America’s Semiconductor, Photonics and Embedded Systems Sectors

Austin, TX - Delegate registration has officially opened for Microelectronics US 2026, taking place April 22-23, 2026 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. The event will bring together the full microelectronics ecosystem - spanning semiconductors, photonics and embedded systems - to accelerate collaboration across design, manufacturing and innovation.

This landmark US edition follows the success of Microelectronics UK, now expanding stateside as the anchor meeting point for engineers, investors and researchers driving America’s semiconductor resurgence. The show will feature more than 5,000 attendees, 150+ exhibitors and 130+ speakers across four dedicated content stages.

Designed to unite the sector under one roof, Microelectronics US will showcase the full value chain - from chip design and advanced manufacturing to packaging, photonics and embedded integration. Aligned with the objectives of the CHIPS and Science Act and the national mission to strengthen technological competitiveness, the event will connect innovators, manufacturers, investors and policymakers to help shape the future of the domestic microelectronics industry.

Across government agencies, fabless firms, device manufacturers and research institutions, the national focus has shifted from exploring possibilities to executing at scale. Microelectronics US is designed as a strategic marketplace to support this shift - bringing together the people, ideas and partnerships needed to turn ambition into industrial capability.

Industry leadership driving national collaboration

To ensure the agenda reflects real-world industry priorities, Microelectronics US has appointed a cross-sector Advisory Board featuring leaders from Intel, AWS, Honeywell, Nokia, MBDA, Texas State University and CORNERSTONE. Collectively, the Board brings expertise across telecommunications, photonics, defence, cloud computing and industrial innovation, offering a 360-degree view of the ecosystem.

Michael Adeniya, Group Event Director at IQPC Exhibitions, said:

“We’re building Microelectronics US as a space where the people shaping America’s microelectronics future can connect, collaborate and make decisions that matter. The Advisory Board brings together deep cross-sector expertise - ensuring the event reflects the challenges, innovation and opportunities driving this critical industry.”

Florian Kaesen - Intel

Florian Kaesen, Director of Value Chain Integration at Intel, commented:

“The semiconductor industry has reached another pivot point. I’m excited to participate in this event and discuss how America can strengthen and extend its technological leadership.”

Dr. Ariful Haque, Assistant Professor at Texas State University, added:

“This event unites leaders from policy, academia, and industry to shape the future of semiconductor technology. I’m particularly excited to contribute to discussions on global supply chains and workforce development aligned with the CHIPS and Science Act.”

Robert Quinn

Robert Quinn, Founder of Quinn’s Media, reinforced the importance of in-person connection:

“The semiconductor industry runs on relationships and trust. Events like Microelectronics US are invaluable because they bring together the people actually making decisions and solving problems on the ground.”

Additional Advisory Board members include Dr. Ekaterina Golovchenko (Nokia), Aubree Slavik (CORNERSTONE Optoelectronics Research Centre), Dr. Shaun Viola (MBDA), Murajith Muraleedharan (Honeywell), and Umar Shah (AWS).
