Anthony Poole is a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he builds autonomous AI agents. His research spans scientific machine learning, computational simulation, and probabilistic modeling. His undergraduate thesis at the Oden Institute, advised by Karen Willcox, focused on Bayesian model reduction for scientific ML, with results targeting NeurIPS 2026. He has additional work on learned simulation systems currently under review at the Journal of Computational Physics. Prior to Microsoft, he built data-driven simulation models for safety-critical autonomy at Kodiak Robotics and developed automated analysis pipelines for microelectronics reliability at AMD. Anthony holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin.
