With an impressive experience in telecommunication and photonics system technology, customers’ relations and business development, Dr. Ekaterina Golovchenko is Nokia’s Senior Director PLM- Subsea.  She is responsible for ensuring the success of Nokia’s subsea solutions globally, partnering with all functions within the organization to help operators scale their subsea networks to meet increasing end-user demand for network bandwidth and address emerging capacity drivers such as artificial intelligence.

Dr. Golovchenko brings over 30 years of management and industry experience to her role, with leadership roles in product strategy and development, sales support, and marketing at companies including SubCom, IPG Photonics, CACI, and Lumentum.

She holds PhD in Physics from the Russian Academy of Sciences and an Executive Development Certificate from Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education. Ekaterina has presented at multiple International industry conferences and trade shows covering both invited and contributed technical papers, and business focused workshops and panel discussions.
