Farhan Rahman is the Head of Silicon Productization Engineering at Ericsson, bringing over 25 years of semiconductor industry expertise to the delivery of high-quality silicon solutions. He specializes in leading the development of ASICs and IPs across high-performance CPU, GPU, Baseband, and Radio designs. Previously, Farhan served in key executive roles at AMD, where he drove end-to-end server system architecture and led microprocessor core development and silicon validation for the highly successful Ryzen and EPYC architectures. His extensive background also includes leadership and technical roles at AppliedMicro, Freescale Semiconductor, and Motorola. A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Farhan actively contributes to the engineering community through technical committees for DAC, SNUG, and the NSF. In his free time, he enjoys reading, photography, fitness, and traveling.
