Paul is currently a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff (DMTS) in the Photonics and Phononics Microsystem group at Sandia National Labs, specializing in classical and quantum integrated photonics and advanced infrared energy conversion devices. Currently, he leads the EPIQ grand challenge, whose goal is to develop error-corrected photonic integrated qubits here at Sandia. Prior to joining Sandia, Paul held research and development positions at Intel Corporation and Los Alamos National Labs.
