Sean Murphy is Director of Product, Embedded CPU Platform IP at MIPS, a GlobalFoundries company. Sean drives the creation and invention of new platforms for Physical AI. He helps customers innovate around application bottlenecks by developing complete compute solutions based on the power of MIPS enhanced RISC-V. Prior to MIPS, he was a product marketing engineer and applications engineer at Texas Instruments, leading EV product portfolio development and supporting validation across power, SerDes, and serial Ethernet. Sean has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland.
